Restaurant's JOHN wine list combines not only unique and lesser-known wine-making regions, styles and labels, but also timeless classics - well-known producers, wines and grape varieties. Restaurant guests can enjoy a variety of white wines, red wines, champagnes and other sparkling wines by the glass, as well as specially selected wines using the CORAVIN system. At JOHN we pay great attention to food and wine pairing, so that our guests could have the full gastronomic experience.
Champagne Bruno Paillard Premier Cuvee – the Bruno Paillard family house is proud of this wonderful champagne that reflects 35 different CRUS or Champagne vineyeards and their unique characteristics. Blended from 25 different vintages, made from Pinot Noir, Chardonnay and Pinot Meunier grapes, this champagne is a great example of a classic champagne style. A wonderful choice to celebrate a special event or to spend a beautiful evening.
La Rioja Alta Vina Alberdi 2016 Reserva – La Rioja Alta is on of the pioneers of winemaking in Rioja, with history of winemaking for more than a century. La Rioja Alta still produces high quality, classic Tempranillo based wines that have always been considered crowd pleasers. This is an elegant, velvety wine that surprised with its balance, freshness and intensity of aromas.
Alois Lageder Löwengang 2018 Chardonnay – this wine played a major role in the developement of the Alto Adige as a quality wine-making region, in 1980s becoming one of the first wines to be recognized and valued internationally. Extremely complex and rich, this Chardonnay will surprise with its full-bodied character and fruity, creamy oak ageing notes that is comlimented by mineral freshness.
Yann Chave Crozes - Hermitage 2019 – new generation wine-making in the historic Crozes – Hermitage area. This Syrah is a pure reflection of this grape variety and the specific terroir. Without the influence of oak, the wine will be an ideal choice for those who love juicy, full-bodied, rich wines, dominated by dark berry nuances and slightly spicy notes.
